Sooner or later we’ll find a hiding place. A place of safety or livelihood. A place of safety.
Such a foundation can give us peace of mind and open the door to possibility.
But it’s possible that we can also turn it into a trap.
A situation so perfectly created that we get stuck. Stuck with no forward motion, stuck in a narrative of inadequacy or suffering.
The places we live in are certainly external depending on how the world treats us. But often they’re internally driven as well, a story that felt comfortable for a while. But if that story has created a constant place of boredom, anxiety, or dissatisfaction, it might be worth finding someone who can help us see that it’s possible to move on.
