The internet is good at cataloging things—but it has a blind spot for creatives.
Evan Britton noticed this in 2012. He thought about how someone who achieves newsmaker status gets a Wikipedia page. If they appear briefly in a film, they are cataloged IMDB. But what if they gain 2 million TikTok followers? Back then there was nowhere to go list this person. Nowhere could a fan go to learn more.
