The railway authorities have refuted information in a bit of the media that the railway stations in and round Prayagraj, the place the Maha Kumbh Mela is being held, have been closed to handle the gang.

Senior officers of the Indian Railways are monitoring the state of affairs and tenting at Prayagraj whereas there was round the clock monitoring on the station, divisional, zonal, and railway board degree, and the Indian Railways was engaged on a struggle footing to ensure that devotees’ journey was clean, he added.
