Michael Bossick is CEO and co-founder of the podcast network Dear Media. Previously, Michael built digital brands and direct-to-consumer businesses. In 2016, Michael and his wife launched The Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast, which has grown into one of the top podcasts in the world with over 150 million downloads. Dear Media came after Michael and Lauryn launched, self-produced, hosted and monetized their popular podcast. This led Michael to believe in the future of podcasts as a platform to launch brands and media properties. After joining a well-known network, it became clear that there was a gap in connecting audio and digital channels in opening up new revenue and growth opportunities. The couple returned to self-production and paved the way for Dear Media’s business model. After analyzing the space, they realized that there were hardly any women in podcasting. To change that, Michael teamed up with Raina Penchansky and founded Dear Media.
