D-Mart’s Q4 net profit up 7.8% to Rs 460.1 crore, revenue up 20.5% to Rs 10,594 crore

NEW DELHI: Avenue Supermarkets Ltd, owner and operator of retail chain D-Mart, on Saturday reported a 7.81 percent increase in its consolidated net income to Rs.460.10 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023.
The company reported net profit of 426.75 crores in the January-March quarter a year ago, Avenue Supermarts said in a BSE filing.
Operating revenue increased by 20.57 per cent to Rs.10,594.11 crore in the quarter compared to Rs.8,786.45 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal year.
Avenue Supermarts total expenditure was Rs.10,002.21 crore, up 21.82 percent in the fourth quarter/FY23 from Rs.8,210.13 crore in the corresponding quarter.
Avenue Supermarts’ total revenue for the March quarter was 10,627.18 crore, up 20.5 percent.
In the fiscal year ended March 2023, Avenue Supermarts’ net profit rose 59.36 percent to Rs.2,378.34 crore. In the previous financial year, the company had reported a net profit of Rs.1,492.40 crore.
Consolidated operating revenue for FY23 was 42,839.56 crore, up 38.3 percent from the prior fiscal year.
The total number of D-Mart stores was 324 as of March 31, 2023.
