Seven Andhra Pradesh pilgrims getting back from Maha Kumbh died and two different sustained accidents after a mini-bus through which they had been travelling collided with a truck in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district on Tuesday, a police official mentioned.
The accident occurred on a 4-lane freeway close to a Canal space of Mohla Bargi village below Sihora police station limits within the district on Tuesday. The pilgrims travelling within the mini-bus are residents of Andhra Pradesh and had been returning to their dwelling after attending Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj.
The truck was going from Jabalpur to Katni when the driving force misplaced his management and moved into the other lane and collided with the mini-bus. Upon receiving the details about the incident, the police reached the spot, eliminated the truck with the assistance of a crane after which rescued the passengers within the mini-bus, the police added.
Extra Superintendent of Police (ASP) Suryakant Sharma instructed ANI, “A tempo traveller (mini bus) carrying passengers, residents of Andhra Pradesh, was getting back from Prayagraj and a truck was going from Jabalpur to Katni. The truck bought uncontrolled and veered into the other lane close to Canal space of Mohla Bargi village below Sihora police station limits and collided with the mini bus. Seven individuals within the mini-bus died whereas two others sustained accidents who had been referred for medical remedy within the accident.”
